CUSTOM SOFTWARE

Software built to fit your business.

We design and build the systems a business runs on: internal applications, customer portals, workflow systems, integrations and automation. Each one starts from how the work should move, not from what a generic tool allows. The scope can be a single workflow or the whole operation.

One request. Six tools. Retyped at every handover.

Few businesses chose their tools. They accumulated them, one problem at a time. Follow a single request through and the cost shows at every handover.

FOLLOW ONE REQUEST

  1. RequestArrives by email, in one person's inbox.
  2. QuoteWorked out in a spreadsheet, sent as an attachment.
  3. ApprovalComes back as a message in a group chat.
  4. JobEntered again in the tool the team works from.
  5. DocumentsSpread across folders and attachments.
  6. InvoiceTyped once more into the invoicing software.

01 · FRAGMENTED

Six tools hold six partial copies of the same request. Nobody sees all of it.

02 · CONNECTING

We map how the work moves between people, then give all of it one shared structure.

03 · ONE SYSTEM

One request, one record. Everyone who needs to know, knows — and nothing is typed twice.

Internal tools, portals and the connections between them.

Most systems combine several of these. None of them comes from a template; each is shaped by the workflow it serves.

  • Internal applicationsThe tools a team works in all day, shaped around its real tasks and its own vocabulary.
  • Customer portalsA place where customers send requests, approve quotes, follow status and find their documents — without calling anyone.
  • Workflow systemsEvery request moves through defined steps, with an owner and a status at each one.
  • IntegrationsAccounting, payments, email, calendars, existing databases: what already works stays, and starts exchanging data.
  • AutomationThe steps that repeat — copying, reminding, producing the same document again — done by the system and checked by people.
  • Document workflowsQuotes, contracts, delivery notes and invoices generated from the record, versioned and filed where they belong.
  • APIsA documented interface, so other systems, partners or a future app can work with the same data.
  • Business-specific applicationsWhen a business does something no off-the-shelf product models, the application is built around that logic.
  • Dashboards & reportingThe numbers the operation is steered by, read from live records instead of assembled by hand.
  • SchedulingPeople, jobs and resources planned in one shared calendar.
  • NotificationsThe right person hears about a change when it happens, without anyone having to call.

The important decisions come before the first screen.

Five kinds of work go into every system, whether it serves one team or the whole company. None of them is decoration.

  1. DISCOVERY

See the work from the inside.

We follow real requests from first contact to invoice and talk to the people who handle them. The feature list comes later.

  2. ANALYSIS

    Map the workflow, exceptions included.

Who hands what to whom, where data gets retyped, which exceptions happen every week. Only then is it clear what the software should take over — and what it should leave alone.

  3. ARCHITECTURE

Decide the structure before the features.

Data model, roles, permissions and integration points come first. That is how a system grows by extension instead of by rewrite.

  4. TESTING

Test what the business depends on.

Automated tests guard the rules the business runs on; people walk the paths real users take. Both happen before every release.

  5. MAINTAINABILITY

    Build it to be changed.

Readable code, documented decisions, no shortcuts that cost later. When the business changes, the system can change with it — whoever does the work.

AI where it genuinely helps. Nowhere else.

AI is one more component, and it has to earn its place. Where it removes manual work or improves a decision, it goes in — always with a person able to check the result. Where a plain rule does the job better, we say so.

Wallie is a Cruderly venture. It is a website, not a business system — but it shows how we build.

More about Wallie

The front door gets the same engineering.

In many businesses the request that enters the system starts on the website. We design and engineer those too.

How we build websites

Tell us where the work gets stuck.

Describe the request that gets retyped the most, or the tool everyone works around. That is enough to start a conversation.
